No print program will be provided. As of May 12, 2023, COVID-19 testing and vaccines are no longer required for entry into the United States, but you may be asked to provide information for contact tracing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Homecoming.<\/strong> This year\u2019s SSLW coincides with the homecoming week. Please keep it in mind as you plan your <a href=\"https:\/\/pmatsuda.net\/sslw\/2023-venue\/\">activities, transportation, and restaurant reservations<\/a>. If you haven\u2019t booked your hotel yet, we suggest <a href=\"https:\/\/pmatsuda.net\/sslw\/2003-hotels\/\">booking a room<\/a> as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upon Arrival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Early Check-in. <\/strong>If you arrive early and would like to check in and pick up your name tag, you can come to Paul&#8217;s office in <a href=\"https:\/\/tours.asu.edu\/tempe\/ross-blakley-hall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ross-Blakley Hall 161<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Ross-Blakley+Hall,+Arizona+State+University\/@33.417134,-111.9306439,18.6z\/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x872b08c2b432e655:0x1bbe3c114ce241c8!8m2!3d33.4174164!4d-111.92989!16s%2Fg%2F11fzbvbjl1?entry=ttu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Map<\/a>) between 2 pm and 5 pm on Wednesday, October 25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Pre-Symposium Social. <\/strong>The Pre-Symposium Social\u2014a time honored tradition\u2014will take place Wednesday, October 25 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pedalhausbrewery.com\/tempe-location\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pedal Haus Brewery Tempe<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/dir\/\/Pedal+Haus+Brewery,+730+S+Mill+Ave+%23102,+Tempe,+AZ+85281\/@33.3805573,-112.02659,12z\/data=!4m9!4m8!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x872b08d7751a6a85:0xf69000b5a672f927!2m2!1d-111.9415306!2d33.4232907!3e0\">730 S. Mill Avenue #102, Tempe, AZ 85281<\/a>). We have an outdoor deck reserved from 6 to 8 pm where appetizers will be served. Please purchase your own drinks and additional food. We will likely continue socializing at the venue (or somewhere in the vicinity) well past 8 pm. Even if you arrive late, please consider coming by to shake hands, exchange fist\/elbow bumps, or at least share vigorous waves!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Registration.<\/strong> We will be checking people in at Paul&#8217;s Office (2-5 pm on Wednesday), during the Pre-Symposium social (6-8 pm on Wednesday), and at the registration desk in front of Arizona Room on the second floor of the Memorial Union (MU; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Memorial+Union\/@33.4177504,-111.9369567,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x872b08db5fe6ad55:0x2ef53ff259692cc7!8m2!3d33.4177504!4d-111.9343818!16s%2Fg%2F11bwkdxjfr?entry=ttu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">301 E Orange St., Tempe, AZ 85281<\/a>). You can check in with one of the SSLW Assistants (wearing the name tags with yellow lanyards) and pick up your name tag. Please have your online ticket\/QR code ready for smooth check in. (If you have registered but don\u2019t have the QR code handy, keep calm and tell us your name.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Lunches. <\/strong>Due to some changes in ASU policies, post-pandemic trends in the hospitality industry, and homecoming  activities, we will not be having an opening reception on Thursday. Instead, we will be spreading out social events by providing lunch on all three days.
